J. Brown is back with his new single, “DON’T RUSH”, and not only is it a banger, but it’s comes in immediately on the R&B charts! Slam dunk, right?
"DON'T RUSH" by J. BROWN featuring TANK is the #20 R&B Song in the country this week, according to Billboard.com. This marks J. BROWN's 5th Top 20 Billboard R&B song in the last 3 years.
"I am beyond thrilled to know that my new song, "Don't Rush", featuring my musical idol, TANK on it, is a Top 20 single," mentions J. Brown. "To think that this is my 5th Top 20 song of my career is proof that dreams can come true, and I do not have enough words to thank everyone involved, from radio, to magazines, bloggers, to my fans, to listeners around the world and of course to my team and Tank," he adds.
"DON'T RUSH", was written by TANK and Travis Bruce and produced by Brian Vincent Bates. "When Tank called me and said he had a record that would be perfect for us to do, there was no doubt in my mind that I had to do it. This was the chance I had been waiting for to work with my idol," mentions J. Brown. "Tank is my absolute favorite artist and this was a dream come true to be in the studio with him again. Don't Rush spoke to both of us as its a sexy sensual song that we thought women around the world would love to hear from us," he adds.
"DON'T RUSH" is the official lead single from J. BROWN's forthcoming debut studio album, "CHAPTER & VERSE", globally available on May 20th, via the Mocha Music/SRG-ILS Group label imprint. The album will be available for pre-orders on May 6th.
A few weeks ago, J. BROWN teased music lovers with the release of the "Simpin'" single to rave reviews. This is J. BROWN's first project after recently being signed to a recording contract with the SRG/ILS Group.
