Who doesn’t know the beautiful Suga-T! At the very minimum, she is a hip-hop legend who has paved the way for all the females to come behind her in this game of music and entertainment. As a member of LEGENDARY rap collective The Click, which also featured brother E-40, brother B-Legit, and cousin D-Shot. Before there was No Limit, and Cash Money, this family unit; hailing from Vallejo, CA, took the hip-hop world by storm, amassing a viral fanbase (before most even knew what it meant to be viral) and showing the world what it looked like to be successful, and independent. They broke tremendous ground, releasing several projects together through the years, but also building their own respective solo careers.
Today, Suga-T is a well-respected entrepreneur, working to build awareness about Ageism and its effects on the hip-hop community. We’ve heard for years the stipulations and restraints that have been placed upon the hip-hop community in terms of what’s too old, and what you’re able to do as you age. With artists like L.L. Cool J, and Jay-Z, that ground has been b’roken in a number of ways for men, but it has changed much for women. In all honestly, it’s grown progressively worse through the years. KingTif is a name you should know in Cleveland when it comes to the media game. As a young and budding entrepreneur, KingTif has built an empire that already is considered to be one of the best when it comes to media coverage and video footage. I personally met KingTif at a local media event, and immediately saw what a master he was at his craft. That meeting quickly led to us working together on several projects, and I later had the blessing of being featured on the King Tif Network. Those opportunities, along with the genuine friendship built through the process, leads us to know with this cover feature. He comes from humble beginnings, and he has absolutely put in the work and paid his dues to reach his current level. Even more astonishing are the goals he has moving forward for The King Tif Network, and beyond. The world needs to know about this guy, and for us, it’s imperative to feature him with his own cover. We consider him to be The Independent Media King here in the city, and you’ll see exactly why in the video feature below!
