July 17, 2015 (ATLANTA)-The season finale of the runaway hit reality show Cutting It In the ATL marked the beginning of a new chapter for the show's breakout star, Mushiya Tshikuka. To close out the inaugural season of the network's popular new show, WEtv featured the behind-the-scenes shoot for Mushiya's debut video for "Runway Curls." Specially created to launch her line of 100% human Ethiopian textured extensions, the song showcases her prowess as a vocalist over a high-energy dance track with House flair and a touch of Afro Beat produced by Mushiya's husband Lou Smith. Blending Mushiya's love of music, fashion, beauty and natural hair into an audiovisual experience gave WEtv another avenue to feature and set Mushiya apart from the other stylists on Cutting It In the ATL.The video in its entirety is now available on Youtube.

Shot on location in Atlanta at CoCo Studio, the video features Mushiya against regal backdrops with a modern edge. Flanked by gorgeous dancers rocking signature styles created by Mushiya and her team at The Damn Salon, the video is a celebration of texture and fashion. Featuring custom dresses from Mushiya's home country of the Congo, each model rocks a style created with Runway Curls hair including chic City AfroUrban Twists in shades of trendy gray; the wavy Messy Bitch texture in ombré blonde; pretty Playboy in strawberry blonde and honey highlights; and Dirty Girl, edged up with lowlights of teal and indigo.

"We're the voices of a New Era in natural hair," Mushiya shares. "Everything I do-from the salon to the show to the music-is about celebrating women, celebrating their beauty in every form. I want women, especially those with natural hair, to be proud of their texture and to see it can be fun and sexy-- just rock out with it!" "Runway Curls" lyrics issue a challenge to the mainstream beauty standards, and encourages women with an anthem devoted to natural hair.

During the season finale, fans of the show not only saw Mushiya's video, but also discovered the response of the other stylists on the show to this new form of promotion from their castmate. The finale tied the drama of the season into a must-see resolution that left the hundreds of thousands of Cutting It In the ATLaficionados clamoring for Season 2.
